My name is Ian Dowdall, and I’m delighted to bring this trusted companion driving service to our local community. Like the Driving Miss Daisy brand itself, my roots trace back to New Zealand - a place close to my heart and the birthplace of this wonderful service. When my wife and I made the move to Australia, it felt only natural to join the Driving Miss Daisy family here, where it is growing and making a real difference in people’s lives.

As the primary service provider, I bring a unique blend of experience from IT and health services. My wonderful wife, trained in Australia as a doctor and later as a cancer surgeon, supports me in delivering this service. Together, we believe we’re perfectly positioned to offer a compassionate, reliable, and personalised experience to our clients.

Whether it’s a medical appointment, a lunch date, a shopping trip, or even a surprise “mystery tour,” we’re here to help you, a loved one, or a friend with whatever you need. We don’t just drop you off—we stay with you, assist you, and ensure you return safely to your front door. And of course, we’ll have a bit of fun along the way!

What sets us apart from taxis and rideshare services is our commitment to being more than just a ride. We are your companion. We’ll help you identify good deals at the shops and carry your groceries into your home. Rain or shine, we’ll greet you at your door with a trusty umbrella and a smile, ready to assist in any way we can.

For your peace of mind, we’ve been thoroughly vetted by the Australian Police, are First Aid and Friends of Dementia trained, approved for Working with Children, and hold all necessary Small Passenger Vehicle Licenses and rideshare insurance. Your safety and comfort are our top priorities.

We understand that aging can come with challenges, but it doesn’t mean life has to be any less fulfilling. At Driving Miss Daisy Redcliffe Peninsula, our goal is to help you maintain your independence and live life to the fullest.

The purpose of this form is to collect information and, if requested, respond to you.

After you submit your feedback, it will be forwarded to your local Driving Miss Daisy and, unless you have elected to remain anonymous, we will use your email address so that:

You will receive an auto-reply email confirmation.
Within 5 working days, a personalised email will be sent to you acknowledging your compliment, general feedback or complaint and giving more information about what will happen next.
We will aim to provide you an outcome of the investigations within 45 days unless that time is extended to collect information from others.

If your matter is complex it might take longer to provide you with an outcome. If this is the case, an interim response may be provided to you. If you did not provide an email address, we will attempt to contact you using the other feedback information you have given to us.
