Vaughan and Helen's story is one of love, care, and connection, as they channel their shared passions for making a difference and giving back through their "Driving Miss Daisy" companion driving service. Offering kindness, companionship, and community to Nambour and beyond.

Helen's career has spanned roles as a former family day care educator, a nursing assistant within high care facilities, and a long career as a registered nurse specialising in surgery. Paired with Vaughan’s background as a chef and IT professional in the medical field. Creating a team rooted in gentle patience and empathy, delivering warm, reliable experiences for private, aged care, and NDIS clients. Beyond work, their adventurous and caring nature shines through, whether savouring hidden food gems or playing PickleBall.

Driving Miss Daisy Nambour are here to help you and your loved ones, whether it’s for an appointment, a shopping trip, a haircut, or even a surprise ‘mystery tour’? We can even help you take your pet to the vet. Whatever your need is, we are here to help (and have a bit of fun along the way). We will not only take you to an appointment, but can wait with you, and bring you safely home to your front door.

Our personal service stands apart from taxis and rideshare kerb to kerb cars. Our safe, dependable, and friendly companion driving service offers far more than just transportation. We can take you to your local shops, even help you with finding specials on your weekly shopping, and after we have driven you home, help you unpack your groceries as well. We do not honk the horn. We greet you at your door with a trusty umbrella if it is raining or just too hot. Then we assist you in whatever way you need, until you are safely home again.

The purpose of this form is to collect information and, if requested, respond to you.

After you submit your feedback, it will be forwarded to your local Driving Miss Daisy and, unless you have elected to remain anonymous, we will use your email address so that:

You will receive an auto-reply email confirmation.
Within 5 working days, a personalised email will be sent to you acknowledging your compliment, general feedback or complaint and giving more information about what will happen next.
We will aim to provide you an outcome of the investigations within 45 days unless that time is extended to collect information from others.

If your matter is complex it might take longer to provide you with an outcome. If this is the case, an interim response may be provided to you. If you did not provide an email address, we will attempt to contact you using the other feedback information you have given to us.

There was even a hiccup with one of the appointment times being changed for the next day. They weren't phased by it at all. Their very easy to deal with. My hubby had his annual check up at Adem Crosby at SCUH. We were given Fabian as our driver/ Carer. Fabian turned out to be a wonderful companion for Brian, apart from him having a great sense of humour and all, I was very impressed with how protective he was with Brian. And even came in with us and waited with us. I have absolutely no worries about recommending them to my friends and the other residents in our village."

"When I spoke with Helen on the phone, she was such a warm and welcoming person, even without seeing her. She told me that the person who would be taking me out today would be Trish. Trish came on time and was super friendly and very helpful. She even had a wheelchair in the car, which I’ve never experienced before so I didn’t have to take mine. She was so obliging and helpful on our outing, I wish everybody was like her.
